According to the police complaints, on October 1, 2024,  Broome County sheriffs pursued the defendant in a high-speed chase from Broome County NY. The deputy sheriff noticed that the defendant had pulled into the parking lot of Lakewood Lodge and was sitting in his
vehicle. The defendant again fled the scene while striking the sheriff’s patrol vehicle. The defendant recklessly drove at speeds up to 106mph striking a stop sign and crashing into a culvert ending the pursuit. The defendant was detained until PA State Police officers arrived and a search of the defendant produced a bag of methamphetamine and $986 of US Currency.

The Defendant’s bail was set at $75,000 and the next court event will be Central Court on October 9, 2024.

Attached are the Complaint and Affidavit with further information.

*The filing of criminal charges is not evidence of guilt but simply a description of the charge made by the Commonwealth against a defendant. A charged Defendant is presumed innocent until a jury returns a unanimous finding that the Commonwealth has proven the defendant’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt or until the defendant enters a guilty plea to the charges.
